In 2007, PREMIERE (now SKY) secured the broadcasting rights for the first Turkish soccer league.

This move was motivated by the success of PREMIERE-TÜRK, a TV package catered to the Turkish audience in Germany, launched the previous year. The company aimed to reach a broader customer base with Turkish soccer. We embarked on a campaign to communicate the message, “Turkish football on PREMIERE is even more thrilling”. Because the excitement doesn’t stop at football; Hollywood blockbuster movies and much more are included. It’s the perfect TV-Offering for the bilingual and bicultural target demographic of German Turks.
